Politicians are supposed to be accountable to the people who elect them, but are they?
As anybody can see from news reports, a lot of politicians are less than truthful.
The Times newspaper reports that annual parliamentary assistance allowances of £130,000 has been misused to employ family members as staff by MPs.

According to Tony Blair weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and Saddam Hussein refusal to get rid of them was reason to declare war on Iraq. Yet according to the Gaurdian newspaper 1,625 US/US inspectors searched 1,700 sites finding no weapons and the capacity for making them non-existent.
